STEVEN MURETIC

MANAGING DIRECTOR

FOUNDER

Steven has always thrived,

achieving success in what

ever application he applies

himself in. After completing a Masters Degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Steven found found himself enjoying the challenges of projects within

the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry (VESI) environment. His vast experience of over 15 years in electrical design, drafting, lighting design, project management and dealing with utilities, developers, consultants and contractors has lead to him developing a new innovative,streamlined project approach which forms the basis of why he founded Murtec Group.

If you happen a chat with Steven over a cheeky Scotch,you will find out that his passion also lies in sport. His own sporting achievements are not too shabby, being lucky enough to have travelled around the world with his football (soccer) achievements. Steven, a proud Croatian fan, most recently ticked off a bucket list item by attending the 2018 FIFA World Cup final in Russia. He was fortunate enough to personally watch & support Croatia who unfortunately lost to France, however sad,it is still one of his greatest accomplishments.

TOMI MURETIC

DIRECTOR

Tomi started his career in

electrical design within VESI

projects after completing

a Bachelor of Electrical

and Computer Systems

Engineering. Opportunities

came knocking on his door

and he moved into the field

of Sustainability, dealing

primarily in energy efficient lighting and lighting control design and business development engineering for commercial / educational and industrial facilities. Tomi successfully grew with his former company for over 12 years, implementing large scale projects, introducing sustainable technologies and becoming National Design Manager. Tomi now finds himself enjoying the opportunity and challenges of where it all began, the VESI environment.

Tomi is a passionate golfer, he equally loves both competitively playing, as well as continually practicing to hone his skills. Tomi found himself fortunate enough to really give it a go in 2017, attending PGA Tour of Australasia Qualifying School, attempting to become a professional golfer - a lifelong dream of his. Despite missing out, he still wishes to tick off that achievement,and hopes his daughter will one day follow in his footsteps. Doing deals on the golf course is how Tomi likes to work, so don’t be afraid to ask.
